Want to enjoy a leisurely Saturday afternoon with friends, sampling an array of distinctive artisan crafted wines? If so, then you’ll love this year’s Wine Time at the Colony. The wine-tasting festival, held minutes from Pittsburgh on the park-like grounds of Penn’s Colony, will feature: wines from 14 award-winning vintners; gourmet foods and confections; plus a marketplace of gifts created especially for wine enthusiasts by juried artisans. The festival is distinguished for its selection of wines which include traditional vintages crafted from Chilean, Italian and California grapes as well as wines featuring Pennsylvania-grown grapes and fruits from three different growing regions.
