Slovenefest brings together thousands to enjoy the ethnic food, music, culture and fun of Slovenia. The festival offers visitors the opportunity to polka and waltz in four different venues: the air-conditioned Alpine Room; the spacious Outside Stage, which host the popular Slovenian-style polka bands; the International Pavilion, which is reserved for traditional Slovenian musicians and visiting performers; and the Gostilna (clubroom), which pulses with the beat of a variety of button box clubs and good-time musicians.
Slovenefest visitors can learn all about Slovenia and its culture from the extensive displays in the SNPJ Slovenian Heritage Center. The air-conditioned Heritage Center is open throughout Slovenefest weekend, and admission to the Heritage Center is free.
The Slovenefest entertainment runs continuously from noon until late at night, and special entertainment for children is arranged by the SNPJ Fraternal Department. Camping facilities and RV hookups are available, parking is free, and there is access to a first-aid tent. Don’t miss the Saturday evening fireworks display (weather permitting). There’s never a dull moment at Slovenefest!
