Looking for a bustling, unique, and downright eclectic festival? Look no further than Shippensburg’s annual Solstice Arts Festival. This dynamic festival is sure to appeal to everyone in your family. Sponsored by Shippensburg Arts Programming and Education (SHAPE), the annual Solstice Arts Festival features fine art, music, good food, children’s art activities and creative outlets for all ages. The festival also emphasizes the importance of environmental sustainability as well as personal health and wellness.
The festival is held annually on the third Saturday in June, and celebrates the launch of the summer solstice. According to festival coordinator Michael Shawn Richardson, it’s a time of year that “celebrates the excitement and feeling of relaxation that the beginning of summer inspires in us all!”
There is no fee to attend this family friendly event, and parking is free.
