The Home and Garden Festival

We can not find any information for The Home and Garden Festival for 2015.

Sponsored by the Wayne County Builders Association, The Home and Garden Festival is a unique event that it focuses almost exclusively on home and garden improvement.  But if you think a festival about the home and garden is as exciting as watching paint dry, you are gravely mistaken.  The Home and Garden Festival is like a super-charged trip to the hardware store but with more helpful people and cooler tools.  The Home and Garden Festival is a family-centered event with fun things to do and is certainly a fair shake better than sneaking the complimentary coffee reserved for contractors!

At the Home and Garden Festival, exhibitors are often selling services and educating patrons of the latest in landscaping, windows, home decor, flooring, and more.  e this event as an opportunity to interface with patrons to educate them on ways to better their property.  A small arts and craft village offers some locally made goods, but most of the items stay focused on the mission of the festival, selling fresh herbs, gardening supplies and items for home and land use.

Surprisingly enough, the Home and Garden Festival offers a fair swath of fun activities – often geared for young kids.  These include various contests such as Lego building and flower pot designing.  There is free face painting, a silent auction, and a visit from festival mascot Wayne the Builder.  Food and refreshments are available on site as well.     Â

Admission is free and parking is on site.
