Looking for something fun to do this fall? Historic Schaefferstown’s annual Harvest Fair & Early American Craft Show will be held on Saturday and Sunday, September 17th-18th. People of all ages can come to enjoy the Alexander Schaeffer farm and explore the fair. We’ll have a variety of activities, food, and artists on the farm at this time as well.
The Fall Harvest Fair & Craft Show will take place at the Alexander Schaeffer Farm in Schaefferstown, PA. The fair will be open from 10am to 5pm on Saturday, September 17th and from 11:30am to 4:30pm on Sunday, September 18th. The Harvest Fair takes place rain or shine and admission is $5.00 per person with free parking, while children 12 and under receive free entry.
There will be various skilled artisans, crafters, farm animals to interact with, great food, games, and other entertainment, such as cider-pressing. Visitors can take self-guided tours through the Historic Schaeffer House and Heirloom Garden, located on the farm grounds. The Fair is a phenomenal opportunity to learn more about the history of Schaefferstown and central Pennsylvania. It is a wonderful chance for families to learn more about the history of the local area and pass that knowledge and some of the traditions onto their children.
“The Harvest Fair is a wonderful way to celebrate the start of autumn and learn more about our local history!” said Schaefferstown native, Juliana Lawrence.
