It is a vast understatement to call Christmas in the Country – Erie a big show. It is in fact a massive show; massive for its large selection of craft vendors, and massive in that it brings a fair deal of clout with it. Hosted by Premier Promotions, this particular festival is the sister of the wildly popular Christmas in the Country. Erie was selected as the location of the company’s expansion into Pennsylvania.  Since it’s inception in 2010 this branch off has been met with fantastic fanfare, and with great reason!

At Christmas in the Country there are over two hundred artisans from all over the country come to participate in this premier market. And with a selection so large there is literally something for everyone on your holiday shopping list. Pamper yourself or loved ones with exotic bath and beauty products as well as gourmet foods and hand poured aromatic candles. Look chic buying the latest trendsetting jewelry and original wall art. There is even eco-friendly clothing, earthen pottery, and hand carved woodwork. Through the weekend there are cooking demonstrations and artisan demonstrations.

Santa will be making daily visits, much to the delight of the younger guests, Raffle tickets are on sale for your chance to win great prizes. The prizes are donated and the proceeds from the raffle go to support local charities. With so many craft vendors you can be sure there are also a lot of food vendors in the mix. While shopping for all those special someone’s be sure to grab some fresh holiday fare, maybe a hot drink, and relax knowing that your holiday shopping has just been successfully accomplished and you never broke a sweat.
