Known regionally as the finest art and craft show in the Poconos, the popular Audubon Art and Craft Festival combines entertaining and educational live wildlife shows featuring animals native to the area with close to 100 juried artists and artisans, many of whose work is nature or wildlife inspired. Add live ice sculpting and activities for the kids and you have a wonderful experience awaiting you in the Poconos!
The festival’s primary focus is wildlife, and art and crafts inspired by nature. The weekend features presentations and workshops with live animals native to the area, as well as wildlife rehabilitation groups. Many of the country’s finest wildlife and nature artists will be exhibiting, as will eighty juried craftsmen, many whose work is nature or wildlife inspired. Sponsored by the Northeast Pennsylvania Audubon Society, funds raised at the festival help support community and school environmental education, provide grants, and maintains several wetland areas.
