Imagine a scenic town known as the gateway to Pennsylvania’s Endless Mountains on a crisp autumn day with hundreds of quilts hanging from buildings, storefronts, and porches all along the street. Yes! That’s “Airing of the Quilts” in Tunkhannock on the first Saturday in October.
Started in 2001, Airing of the Quilts has grown to include four indoor venues and attracts thousands every year. In 2013, over 5000.00 was raised for area church organizations and volunteer activities.
